We Build Leaders

We are a young professional's organization for people ages 21 to 40. We help our members develop the leadership, business, and personal skills they need to be successful in the world today. How do we do this? We run programs in three primary areas - business development, individual development, and community involvement. Whether through attending or managing a project, our members learn a lot, help the community, build necessary skills, and have fun doing it! We strive to make an impact in our community every day!

Make an Impact

The original Jaycees were a group of young men who wanted to advance their careers but didn't have enough experience to get the jobs they wanted. But without those jobs, they couldn't get the experience they needed. Their solution? They formed a membership organization that ran professional projects in the community that not only gave them experience but made a difference in their community. The Greater Muskegon Jaycees continue those efforts today.

Over the years, the Jaycees have been instrumental in launching and supporting important community events such as Parties in the Park, bringing the Miss Michigan pageant to Muskegon, keeping the Muskegon County Museum open, Summber Celebration, Snowfest, the St. Patrick's Day Parade and much more!
